WHY I BOUGHT THESE CAMERAS
I wanted to document the local bluegrass scene. They are excellent with video and audio.
WHY I AM SELLING
I accomplished what I set out to do. I need the money to invest in my banjo building (see hicklerbanjo website) business.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THESE CAMERAS
- direct stereo XLR inputs, great sound capture
- gorgeous color
- as simple or as detailed as you want. Automatic settings are great but you can go as deep as you want with manual settings.
- Video is saved to flash drive
- monitor audio via earphones (not included)
FULL DISCLOSURE
I bought all of this used except for the Pod 3 tripod which I bought new on eBay. I have about 00 invested in this equipment.
These cameras are in used condition. But they are still great. There are workarounds for any problem you might run into.
Camera one:
- has 362 hours logged
- has a glitchy channel two volume setting. It can sound scratchy when set at a certain setting.
Camera two:
- has 145 hours logged
- I had an XLR cable get stuck one time in the channel one input, but eventually got it out.
- the clip that closes the eyepiece is gone. When I needed it closed, I just taped it.
The Manfroto tripod is missing a knob, so you need a wrench to tighten the tilt handle.
