Camcorder has been tested and works great. It is clean and in very good physical condition showing very few signs of wear or usage. Mainly just has wear on the hand strap from age as the leather coating has begun to deteriorate.
Unit is an excellent working 8mm camcorder but is also an excellent way to go back and watch your old 8mm Hi8 home video tapes. Just insert the tape into the cassette mechanism, hit play, look at the fold out LCD display (or connect to your TV with supplied AV cables), and you’ll be reliving your old memories. With the right connectors and computer software this unit also can be used to transfer your old home videos onto digital formats such as onto your computer or onto DVDs. There are plenty of YouTube videos if you’d like to explore the conversion process.
