Easily capture and share the world around you in 360° with the
Orah 4i Live Spherical VR Camera
, developed by VideoStitch. Featuring four image sensors, four lenses, and four high-frequency range microphones, the Orah 4i records both ambisonic audio and 4K video at 30 fps for an immersive spherical video experience with plug-and-play ease of use. Its all-metal body is designed for thermal efficiency for long shooting sessions and built-in stabilization and horizon correction keep video smooth. All-glass multi-coated eight-element fisheye lenses reduce flare, while automatic exposure and white balance aid in accurate scene reproduction.
More than just a camera, the 4i uses a single cable to connect to a dedicated stitching box with an Intel CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GPU to weave four video inputs into one using its own customized version of VideoStitch's VahanaVR software. The resulting stitched-together video can then be stored for later editing via the SD card slot or used for immediate live transmission. The box bristles with connectors, including four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, dual gigabit LAN, and mic and headset connectors. 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 are also available.
Plug-and-Stream
Created with ease of use in mind, the Orah 4i is a self-contained plug-and-play unit. The camera unit uses a single Ethernet cable to plug into the stitching box, which can then stream over the Internet by connecting to your router over Ethernet or 802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi. Or, save your stitched video directly to an SD card for later editing.
VahanaVR Built-In
The Orah 4i's stitching box is equipped with its own customized, perpetually-licensed stitching software based on VideoStitch's VahanaVR. The software removes seam lines, gaps, and artifacts when combining four video streams into a single equirectangular 4K video, suitable for low-latency transmission to popular platforms, such as YouTube, Oculus, and Littlstar.
Small Size, Big Picture
The diminutive size of the 4i camera makes it suitable for a variety of venues, including sports stadiums and arenas, concerts, and on-location news broadcasts. Equally comfortable in smaller spaces, the 4i can be used to record special moments like weddings and parties or for transmitting live footage from meetings and classrooms to remote participants.
While the stitching box must be connected to power or to a 19-19.5V battery, the camera's reach can be extended thanks to the included PoE adapter and your preferred length of Ethernet cable.
